Miranda Thornton is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate in the state of Texas. She is trained to work with individuals, couples, families, and groups. Miranda particularly enjoys working with adolescents and their families and is LGBT friendly.
Miranda completed her Master's Degree in Family Therapy at Texas Woman's University. She began working with families, individuals, and groups in a community-based clinic in 2010. Currently Miranda is completing a PhD, also in family therapy, with an anticipated graduation date of 2015. Her dissertation is considering the experiences of families with children who had significant disabilities.
Miranda uses a sliding scale fee. Insurance is not accepted, but a statement of services can be provided for insured persons to obtain reimbursement.
